Poor performance from control room design
A control room is a component of a complex system where people and equipment interface to monitor and control multiple systems. Many people struggle to visualise drawings or plans, and control room workflow simulations or ‘mock-ups’ are time consuming and often unproductive.
To achieve the optimal control room, the design costs using traditional design and review methods can be significant.
The likelihood of design error is substantial as drawings do not involve all relevant stakeholders and don’t provide a dynamic environment for all critical operational requirements to be considered.
